There are many factors which contribute to the wear of segments, where the age and construct of surfaces being drilled can lead to varying levels of deterioration.
But! This unavoidable usage of a consumable doesn’t need to be costly! Instead of purchasing brand new Diamond Core Drills, simply get our team to perform a re-tipping of your existing barrels purchased from ourselves or elsewhere.
This can be done for anything within our Arix, Arix ‘X’, Lightning, Black or Green ranges, where services are tailored for your specific Diamond drilling needs and budget.

Our team has amassed a wealth of industry knowledge, with over 65 years of experience. We use an exceptionally robust Copper-Zinc Alloy, which provides much better results compared to the Silver-based Solder often used by competing Diamond drilling suppliers.

You can either return your Diamond Core Barrels using a courier or deliver them yourself to our workshop in Stevenage, based just off the A1. We will thoroughly inspect your barrels to ensure they’re fit for purpose, before cutting them back and re-tipping them in a segment of your choice. Each barrel is then spray painted to give them a quality finish.
If you only require re-tipping for a small number of barrels, we can get this done while you wait. For larger quantities, we can have them ready 24 hours later, with the option of both collection and courier delivery anywhere in the country.
